How does Modpoll work?
There are two ways to use polls from modpoll.com. You can either embed them into your website or blog by copying and pasting a small bit of javascript or you can link to a hosted poll on modpoll.com. Once you create a poll you are given the coding to embed the poll, a link to your your poll or you can use the addtoany widget to add a link to your poll from many popular social networking sites or webmail apps. Using the javascript coding on your website or blog requires that you have the ability to add javascript to your site.

Anywhere! It's even easier now to link to polls with the addtoany widget! - Ning Social Networks. We have a *lot* of Ning users adding Modpolls to thier sites. Doesn't seem like there are any issues.
- Blogger Blogs. We've seen a *lot* of polls being used on Blogger so it seems like there's no issues there. Seen them placed on posts and sidebars.
- WordPress Blogs. Polls can be used on Wordpress as long as your blog is not hosted on wordpress.com or you do not have sufficient access on a hosted blog. If you have a WordPress blog that you've installed yourself from wordpress.org or with an installer on your hosting providers control panel you should have no problems using polls on posts, pages or widgets.
- TypePad Blogs. From what we understand you can use javascript on TypePad blogs which means you can use polls on TypePad blogs.
- Other As long as you can add javascript to your site you shouldn't have a problem.
